Forever Young Coaching

Health & Scope of Practice Disclaimer

Effective Date: 25th September 2026

Forever Young Coaching provides nutrition, lifestyle and fitness coaching within the limits of my qualifications, competence and professional scope of practice.

The information and coaching I provide are intended to support your health, nutrition, habits, physical activity and fitness. They are educational and supportive in nature and are not a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

1. Coaching is not medical care

Forever Young Coaching does not provide medical treatment.

I do not:

  • diagnose medical conditions;

  • prescribe medication;

  • advise you to stop, start or change prescribed medication;

  • provide treatment for disease or injury;

  • provide physiotherapy or other regulated healthcare treatment; or

  • provide services as a doctor, dietitian or other regulated healthcare professional unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where medical or specialist input is appropriate, I may recommend that you seek advice from your GP, dietitian, physiotherapist or another suitably qualified healthcare professional before I provide or continue particular aspects of coaching.

2. Your health information

To provide coaching safely and appropriately, I may ask you for information about your health, injuries, medications, symptoms, medical history or other circumstances relevant to your coaching.

You are responsible for providing information that is honest, accurate and reasonably complete, and for telling me if your health circumstances materially change during coaching.

Relevant health information is handled in accordance with the Forever Young Coaching Privacy Policy.

3. When medical clearance or referral may be needed

Having a health condition does not automatically prevent you from receiving coaching.

However, I may ask you to seek medical advice, clearance or specialist support where I believe that:

  • a health condition, symptom or injury may affect the safety or suitability of coaching;

  • your needs fall outside my professional scope;

  • a proposed change to nutrition or exercise may require medical oversight; or

  • continuing without appropriate healthcare input would be inappropriate.

In these circumstances, I may adapt, pause or decline part of the coaching service until suitable advice has been obtained.

4. Urgent medical concerns

Forever Young Coaching is not an emergency or crisis service and is not monitored continuously.

If you experience symptoms that may require urgent medical attention, you should seek appropriate medical or emergency care rather than relying on coaching advice or messaging me.

5. Exercise and nutrition involve some risk

Physical activity, changes to exercise, and changes to nutrition or lifestyle can involve some degree of risk.

Although coaching is designed to take account of the information you provide and sensible precautions will be used, no programme can remove every possible risk of injury, illness or adverse response.

You should:

  • work within your capabilities;

  • follow appropriate safety guidance;

  • use exercise equipment correctly;

  • stop or modify activity where necessary; and

  • seek appropriate professional advice if you experience concerning symptoms, pain or other problems.

6. Individual results

No specific outcome can be guaranteed.

Progress may be influenced by factors including:

  • your starting point;

  • consistency and adherence;

  • health and medical circumstances;

  • sleep and stress;

  • lifestyle and activity;

  • training history; and

  • circumstances outside either party's control.

Examples, testimonials, progress photographs and client experiences represent individual outcomes and should not be interpreted as a promise that you will achieve the same result.

7. General website information

Information published on the Forever Young Coaching website, social media channels, videos, articles or other educational material is general information unless it has been specifically provided to you as part of an individual coaching service.

General content cannot take account of your full medical history, circumstances or individual needs and should not be treated as personalised medical advice.

8. Professional boundaries

If something falls outside my qualifications, competence or professional scope, I will not attempt to replace an appropriately qualified professional.

Good coaching sometimes means recognising when somebody needs different expertise.

Where appropriate, I will recommend referral or further professional support.

9. Questions

If you are unsure whether Forever Young Coaching is suitable for you, you are welcome to discuss this with me before starting coaching.
